And the Giants beat the Dodgers! Now Monday: early walk as
the wind is forecast, senior center duty, shop for a few necessities including
mouse bait as Sheila found signs of intrusion under the sink. My walk yesterday
was social as usual: three conversations with total strangers. A homeless guy
showed me his new boots and we talked about feet, a new manager at the seedy
motel told me his plans for improving the place, and a woman called me her
favorite walker.
